Nader M. Elmarhoumi, Ph.D., PMP Resident Scholar & Director, McKinney Islamic Association & McKinney Masjid Post-Doctoral Fellow, University of North Texas, Physics Department ShaykhDr. Nader Elmarhoumi was born in Dallas, Texas, but his family roots hail from the Honored city of Makkah from one of the branches of “Assaadah – Al’ashraaf”, the honored descendants of The Prophet (SAWS), who later moved to Egypt. By the Grace and Blessings of ALLAH (SWT), he gained the bulk of his Islamic knowledge and education in Alexandria, Egypt where most of his family resides. He studied under and holds several `Ijaazat, and certifications from Eminent Scholars of our time, including His Eminence Shaykh Yaseen Roushdy of Alexandria, in the various fields and disciplines of Islamic Sciences. He has been serving as a Resident Scholar, Director, and Motivational Speaker, also as a Religious Advisor and Consultant to various Islamic organizations and schools for more than a decade.
